- Africa Unlimited co-initiated Africa Collective in 2022.
- The initiative was born out of the need to accelerate the representation of the African economic agenda globally, by providing a platform for stakeholders to highlight, exchange about and collaborate on the opportunities the continent presents.
- The Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat supports Africa Collective as its Patronage Partner with Business Insider Africa as the lead Media Partner.
- The first activities took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2023 in Davos.
